EB welding is a fusion process that is performed in a vacuum chamber, producing narrow welds with low heat input and having superior strength.

Versatile and repeatable welds can be performed to produce deep narrow welds at high speed requiring 1/10th the power of conventional welding down to a few thousandths of an inch.

Electron Beam Welding.
The machine consists of two parts. The chamber where the component is manipulated and the gun where the welding beam is generated.

Vacuum heat treatment and brazing.
The process of heat treating within the vacuum environment means the component comes out clean after processing and ideal for finished machined components.

Helium Leak Detecting.
This a non destructive testing process useful for checking leak tightness after electron beam welding or vacuum brazing.

Metallagraphic inspection.
Facilities to section a welded assembly for weld depth and profile examination.
